Prepare your body for training giving it the blood glucose levels it needs for a good performance. Thus you will accelerate the recovery process and avoid dizziness during training. To do this, a good option is to eat fruit before exercise.

Paradoxically it is important that the foods we eat before training do not contain high levels of glycemia. Thus we’ll achieve better performance when training, because the accumulated glycemia must be food we have eaten several hours before the exercise.

Fruits with a lower glycemic index, and therefore the most recommended for eating just before exercise, are pear and apple, two varieties of season we can easily find. Also try with red fruits like strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, cherries … ideal for eating before sports, because apart from having low glycemic index they provide us with high amounts of antioxidants.

If you don’t have enough time, take fruit on the go. Apple and pomegranate Smoofruit is very easy to digest, it has no added sugar or fat and improves performance while training.
